Privacy Policy
Last updated: draft, to be reviewed before launch
Irish Pages (“we”, “us”) is a directory of Irish businesses run by Design My Website. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Business listings
We publish business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites and descriptions. We collect them from public sources and from owners who add their business. Email addresses are held to contact businesses about their listing and are shown on the site only behind a click. If you want a listing changed or removed, contact us and we will act promptly.
Forms
When you add a business, claim a listing or send a message, we store the details you give us so we can respond. We keep claim and listing requests for as long as the listing exists, and messages for up to two years.
Emails about listings
We may email a business to tell them they are listed and how to claim or update the listing. Every such email has an unsubscribe link and we stop at once if you ask.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses only essential storage unless analytics is switched on. If it is, we ask for your consent first through the cookie banner.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to host the site and protect forms, and Brevo to send email. Both process data on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us through the contact page. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
